About Ecooperation

Ecooperation is a network connecting national organizations and festivals across Europe, focused on outdoor theatre and circus. Its goal is to foster more sustainable touring for artists by connecting event organizers and festivals with one another. The benefits include:

  • Reducing CO2 emissions
  • Saving on travel budgets
  • Booking artists from distant locations at lower travel costs
  • Discovering talented artists already on tour near your location

Easily connect with colleagues organizing events before or after yours, whether they’re just around the corner or across the border. Through the Ecooperation platform, you can send requests to fellow organizers and share touring shows, making the process more efficient and eco-friendly.

This platform is exclusively available to organizers, with subscriptions moderated by national associations. Artists and agents do not have direct access but are encouraged to ask the festivals where they are performing to use the Ecooperation platform to minimize emissions, lower travel costs, and make tours more sustainable.

No personal data is published or visible online, and the Ecooperation.net platform strictly adheres to EU GDPR regulations.

National associations oversee membership for their members, but festivals outside these associations can join for just €30 per year. This provides full access to the platform, helping reduce CO2 emissions and potentially lead to significant cost savings. You can also proudly display the Green Marketing Ecooperation logo in your program to highlight your commitment to sustainability.
